How It Started...

Daren Le's love for cars began early, during his teenage years. At 16, he spent Friday nights and weekends cruising with friends, fixing and modifying cars whenever he could with the money he earned as grocery store bagger. There was a pure sense of freedom and joy in being able to drive without relying on parents.

However, this passion for automobiles led to two speeding convictions! One of them was for driving over 80 mph on Sloat Blvd in San Francisco, where the speed limit was 40 mph—during school hours, no less. To this day, he vividly remembers the officer who pulled him over. The officer was not pleased. That car got Daren in so much trouble as a teen to say the least!

Nowadays, octane is still in the veins but behind the lens of camera.

I've been photographing since 2007 (mainly landscapes/travel) and have been shooting ever since.
